Position Description:

1. Manages/coordinates scheduled/unscheduled aircraft structural maintenance and production activities on the H-72 fleet.
2. Ensures 100% safe, on-time, properly configured, reliable aircraft to perform missions in accordance with the PWS.
3. Provides technical guidance to maintenance personnel performing aircraft maintenance.
4. Ensures compliance with directives, technical manuals, work standards, safety procedures, and company policies relating to aircraft maintenance operations.
5. Ensures sufficient manpower, technical data, tools, and equipment are available for planned work and shift coverage.
6. Monitors attendance, approves timecards, assigns overtime.
7. Applies company policy and procedures pertaining to the promotion, training, discipline, and termination of employees.
8. Ensures employees possess the qualifications and certifications necessary to perform their jobs.

Additional Requirements:

1. Five years of supervisory experience; 5 years of H-72 maintenance experience preferred; 12 years of aircraft maintenance experience, preferably in a military environment.
2. High School Diploma mandatory; Bachelor Degree in a related field preferred.
3. Must possess a valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
4. Able to obtain/maintain security clearance as required by PWS.
5. Comprehensive understanding of aircraft maintenance and quality control procedures in an Army aviation environment.
6. Must possess competent computer skills.
7. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
8. Must be able to move about both inside aircraft hangars and outside on aircraft ramps within close proximity of running equipment and aircraft.
9. Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to deal with stressful situations and timelines while maintaining a professional and non-confrontational attitude.
