Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking an Aviation Maintenance Pilot for the Ogden, UT area. The role involves conducting maintenance-related flight operations for C90 and PC12 aircraft at the Ogden Regional Maintenance Facility.

Schedule is TBD, with compensation up to $100,000 annually based on experience. The candidate must have 1200 flight hours (500 cross country, 100 night, 75 instrument), hold a First/Second Class FAA medical certificate, and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • 1200 total flight hours with 500 cross country, 100 night, 75 instrument (50 actual) hours.
  • Current FAA medical certificate (First or Second Class) and PIC multi-engine experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre- and post-maintenance inspections and flight tests for scheduled/unscheduled maintenance.
  • Perform aircraft reposition flights to support maintenance and operations.
  • Ensure regulatory documentation and records are accurate and up-to-date.

Job description

Position: Aviation Maintenance Pilot

Location: Ogden Regional Maintenance Facility, Ogden, UT

Airframe: C90 and PC12

Schedule: TBD

Annual Salary: Up to $100,000 DOE

Minimum Required Qualifications
  • 1200 Total Flight hours. 500 Cross Country hours. 100 Night hours. 75 Instrument (50 actual) hours.
  • Current First or Second Class FAA Medical Certificate 100 hours as Pilot in Command of a Multi-Engine Airplane Commercial Airplane Multi Engine Land (C-AMEL) Required.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Valid and unexpired driver’s license
  • Ability to interpret, apply, and effectively communicate complex technical data and processes associated with aircraft systems
  • Ability and willingness to participate in the after-hours and on-call support of aircraft operational needs which may include travel and working some evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Possess strong work ethic, customer service skills, and the ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
  • Ability to work in a team environment with an eagerness to contribute to the overall success of the Maintenance department and the Company.
Preferred Qualifications
  • FAA Mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant Ratings 100 hours as PIC in King Air or PC-12 model aircraft.
  • Experience maintaining general aviation and/or turboprop powered aircraft.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Performs pre- and post-maintenance visual inspections, ground runs, and operational check flights (OCF) for aircraft undergoing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance at regional maintenance facilities and in the field for troubleshooting and/or to ensure aircraft systems are functioning in accordance with design specifications.
  • Performs aircraft reposition flights as required for aircraft maintenance and to support operational needs.
  • Ensures aircraft quality and operational readiness after undergoing maintenance to include interior and exterior cosmetic items, emergency equipment and basic medical supplies, company and regulatory requirements, interior and exterior cleanliness, and other return to service items as required.
  • Ensures compliance with updates and revisions of Electronic Flight Bags, Pilot Operating Handbooks, Aircraft Flight Manuals, Aircraft Weight and Balance records, and Pilot Guides for aircraft being returned to service after a scheduled periodic inspection event.
  • Maintains accurate company and regulatory documentation and record keeping for risk assessment, shifts, load manifests, etc.
  • Interacts and collaborates with the Maintenance, Operations, Dispatch, Quality Assurance, and Safety departments.
  • Maintains required certifications, ongoing ground and air training, with an emphasis on aircraft systems training.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions
  • Required to work in outside weather conditions.
  • Must be able to work night, day, and overnight shifts as assigned.
  • May need to deice the plane, assist with towing the aircraft and maneuvering in and out of the hangar, prep the plane for flight.
