Location: Van Nuys

Description

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Manager to join Silver Air. The role involves managing daily maintenance of our fleet, coordinating with internal departments, flight crew, and vendors. The position requires proactive management during routine and AOG activities to maximize safety and revenue.

Responsibilities include:
  • Overseeing aircraft repairs, modifications, scheduling, and parts procurement.
  • Developing maintenance plans ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Coordinating maintenance activities across departments.
  • Managing AOG events efficiently.
  • Providing on-site support during owner departures.
  • Controlling costs related to maintenance, inventory, and subscriptions.
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records.
  • Ensuring timely invoicing and financial reconciliation.
  • Leading communication with owners and vendors to ensure aircraft readiness.
  • Building vendor relationships for accountability and quality.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 10+ years in maintenance tech or control roles preferred.
  • 3+ years of Part 135 experience preferred.
  • A&P License is required.
  • Experience with maintenance tracking software (CAMP, Flight docs, CMP) preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
