Job summary
Cutter Aviation is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Team Lead to oversee a crew of technicians performing routine, scheduled, and unscheduled aircraft maintenance. You will ensure on-time, squawk-free delivery and oversee preplanning, quotes, and effective communication across shifts.
Ideal candidates will have an A&P license, leadership experience, and strong knowledge of FARs and manufacturer manuals.
Qualifications
- Must have an Airframe and Powerplant license or equivalent experience.
- Leadership experience is a plus.
- FARs familiarity and Aircraft Manufacturer’s Maintenance Manuals knowledge.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and assist with aircraft maintenance.
- Knowledge of ground control operations and hangar security.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of technicians to perform routine, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
- Preplan upcoming work and quote tasks accurately.
- Coordinate daily workload and offer clear instructions.
- Ensure paperwork compliance and timely submittal to Inspection Department.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and proper handling of parts.
