Job summary

AIM is hiring Aircraft Maintenance Instructors to train the next generation of FAA-certified mechanics in our Part 147 program, with hands-on classroom and hangar instruction.

We offer a 5-day paid instructor training, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, and daytime or evening schedules. No teaching experience required; veterans are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate degree in aviation or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Teach aircraft maintenance systems and FAA‑aligned curriculum in hands‑on environments.
• Deliver FAA‑aligned curriculum to prepare students for A&P certification.
• Demonstrate practical skills used by A&P mechanics and aviation technicians.
• Maintain records of attendance, grades, and student progress.
• Support curriculum updates and collaborate with program leadership.
• Create a structured, engaging, and safety‑focused learning environment.
• Maintain classroom, lab equipment, and training materials.
