Job summary

Airborne Maintenance and Engineering Services is seeking an estimator to develop task standard estimates covering labor, materials, elapsed time, and tooling for routine and non-routine tasks on transport category aircraft.

You will create customer work package quotations with precise man-hour and material estimates, using maintenance history data to validate standards. The role requires 6+ years as an A&P technician and strong communication, planning, and training abilities.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and estimate at the task card level.
  • Proficient in Excel, including v-lookups.
  • 6+ years as an A&P technician on transport category aircraft.
  • Strong verbal and written communication; able to present to all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Develop task standard estimates covering labor, materials, elapsed time and tooling.
  • Create customer work package quotations with accurate man-hour and material estimates.
  • Review maintenance history/data to validate and adjust standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to support staff as needed.
