Job summary

Global Logistics Support Services, Incorporated (GLSS) in Fort Worth, TX, seeks an Aircraft Tools & Parts Technician to join our NAS JRB Fort Worth team. This role maintains aircraft logs, performs data entry, and supports maintenance records for military deployments.

The ideal candidate has a DoD Secret security clearance, Navy Aircraft Logs and Records training, and at least two years in aircraft logs/records. U.S. Navy background preferred; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience as an Aircraft Logs and Records Technician.
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance required.
• Graduate of the U.S. Navy Aircraft Logs and Records training program.

Responsibilities

• Maintains aircraft and engine logbooks and records; proficient in operator, data entry, and retrieval tasks.
• Perform networking functions between stations; analyze and correct errors from software, hardware, or data entry.
• Transmit and receive data via floppy disk, modem, and other electronic means.
• Extract data, generate and interpret management reports, create archives and backups for deployments.
• Perform clerical and administrative duties related to aircraft maintenance, including reports, filing, and database analysis.

Job Descriptions:

• Maintains aircraft and engine logbooks and associated records. Proficient performing all operator, data entry and retrieval functions associated with aircraft recordkeeping.
• Performs networking functions between individual stations, including analysis and correction of errors caused by software, hardware or data entry.
• Transmits and receives data via floppy disk, modem and other electronic means.
• Extracts data, formulates and interprets management reports, creates archives, backups, and data saves in support of military deployments and detachment operations.
• Performs a wide range of clerical and administrative duties related to aircraft maintenance, such as preparing reports and correspondence, filing and typing, performing database and systems analysis.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Have an active DOW Secret Security Clearance.
• Be a gradate of the U.S. Navy's Aircraft Logs and Records training program.
• Have two (2) or more years of experience as an Aircraft Logs and Records Technician.
