Job summary

Duncan Aviation is seeking a Completions Specialist to remove, repair, modify, refurbish, and reinstall aircraft interiors per customer specs and Duncan Aviation procedures in a safe, organized work area.

The role includes maintaining shop equipment, assisting with training, and completing timely documentation. Candidates should meet the education and experience requirements for the Completions Specialist I–III levels and be able to lift up to 100 lbs and work in varied environments.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year aviation interiors experience or two years related interiors experience required.
• Minimum two years aviation interiors experience preferred for higher levels (specifications by level).

Responsibilities

• Removes and installs interiors including carpeting, insulation, soundproofing, fabric accessories, etc. in aircraft using hand tools according to Duncan Aviation procedures.
• Strips materials, preps and repairs panels; performs minor modifications and recovers flat work and accessories.
• Performs major modifications under supervision.
• Assists with training team members to develop job knowledge and performance.
• Researches, prepares, and signs off documents for record keeping per procedures, manuals, and FAA regulations (turnovers, 8110-3s, removal sheets, flammability testing, W.O. Sheets, etc.).
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
