Job summary

Vista Aircraft Maintenance in the Twin City area is seeking an Upholstery Specialist to fabricate and repair aircraft interiors at our on-site 145 repair station. You will perform technical upholstery functions, install panels, and follow work orders and drawings.

Candidates should have experience or willingness to learn, read instructions, and operate hand tools. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required, plus pre-employment checks and a clean background as part of our

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions.
• Experience with measuring tools and basic math.
• Experience operating industrial sewing machines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete interior work on general aviation aircraft in a 145 repair station.
• Perform upholstery functions within design, customer, FAA, and aircraft specifications.
• Fabricate/install upholstery, cover panels, and create patterns from drawings and specs.
• Complete installation and trim tasks per work orders and drawings.
• Fit panels, cabin components, carpets, and bulkheads; paint as required.
• Maintain aircraft cleanliness and assist with stock and tools.
