Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking a Lead Aircraft Interior Technician to guide a team skilled in installing, modifying, repairing, refurbishing and fabricating aircraft interior components.

You will supervise daily activities, ensure quality, and coordinate with the Interior Team Leader to plan workflow in a fast-paced hangar environment. The role requires strong leadership, 8+ years in aircraft interiors, a high school diploma, and ability to train staff.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of supervisory training classes is preferred.
• 8+ years of experience on aircraft interiors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to complete jobs with good judgment and involve management when needed.
• Independently manage installations by coordinating with the Interior Team Leader and staff.
• Perform quality checks, supervise, and assign daily activities.
• Train, coach, and mentor team members to develop skills and performance.
• Prepare and deliver annual performance evaluations for team members.
• Assist with engineering designs for major modification projects.
• Perform all work with minimal supervision and in compliance with FAA guidelines.
