Job summary

Requires strong leadership, blueprint literacy, and experience in aircraft interior trades. Responsibilities include coordinating with engineering, creating work schedules, teaching procedures, and enforcing safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret engineering orders and blueprints.
• Experience with interior aircraft components and standard processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop work schedules, estimates and status reports and assign tasks to meet schedules.
• Coordinate with other departments and work with engineering to ensure proper fabrication and completion.
• Ensure workmanship quality and suggest improvements to reduce cycle time.
• Report status of assignments and maintain department records.
• Instruct and coach subordinates on work procedures and blueprints; train staff on methods and teamwork.
• Follow up and expedite corrective actions to avoid delays and discrepancies.
• Implement and monitor a safety program, enforce FOD regulations, and maintain clean work areas.
