Job summary

Bombardier is seeking an Interior Remove & Install Technician for the Evening Shift at the Hartford Service Center. You will fabricate, install and refurbish aircraft interior components, and perform work per manuals while ensuring safety standards. Travel to international sites may be required.

The role demands 3–5 years of Interiors Remove & Install experience on corporate aircraft, ability to read drawings, and hands-on skills with veneers, finishes, sanding and painting.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Interiors Remove & Install experience on corporate aircraft.
• Ability to break down cabinets, remove hardware, inlay, etc.
• Experience with sanding, veneer prep and finishing touches on veneers.
• Knowledge of spraying polyester base coats and urethane top coats.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, install and refurbish aircraft interior equipment and furnishings per work order or customer request
• Perform and document all work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
• Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop and / or Hangar positions)
• Comply with environmental health / safety policies / procedures
• Participate in 5-S activities
• Assist with additional work on drop-ins and planned maintenance within the facility during slow periods of unplanned work as needed
• Clean aircraft as required
• Travel on international assignments if required
• Assist with maintenance at off-site locations as needed
• Assist with other maintenance disciplines as needed
