Job summary

RECARO Aircraft Seating in Fort Worth, TX, seeks a junior design engineer to support the seat and component design process under FAA/compliance guidelines. You will develop 3D models and detailed drawings using CATIA V5, focusing on interior seating systems for commercial aircraft.

Responsibilities include translating customer and OEM requirements into working designs, collaborating with project engineers, and producing documentation to assist purchasing and production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering field is required.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience is acceptable.
• Experience with aircraft interiors is a plus.
• Familiarity with aircraft documentation systems (CMM, SB) is a plus.
• CATIA V5 experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design aircraft seats and components using CATIA V5 and 3D modeling.
• Create 2D drawings from 3D models following aerospace drafting standards.
• Incorporate customer and OEM requirements into design changes.
• Participate in design reviews with project engineers.
• Provide documentation to support sourcing and production.
