Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Cabinetmaker to support sensitive HQ USAF operations and ensure safe air transport for officials and dignitaries. The role requires hands-on woodworking, cabinetmaking, and repair of interior components on special mission aircraft.

Responsibilities include fabricating and installing cabinetry, using power tools, reading drawings, and maintaining quality and safety standards. Candidates must have a high school diploma and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Must have cabinetmaking knowledge and repair procedures.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must show leadership abilities and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance, modifications, and repair of furnishings and interior components.
• Assembles, installs, and aligns cabinet shells and hardware in aircraft interiors.
• Reads technical data and drawings to fabricate cabinetry and interior accessories.
• Maintains safety, housekeeping, tool control, and FOD prevention programs.
