Job summary

Republic Airways is seeking an Mx Inspection professional to perform inspections on completed maintenance and related aircraft components to ensure airworthiness. The role requires FAA Airframe and Powerplant license, RII certificate, and at least 1 year of experience with a computer-based workflow.

The incumbent will audit maintenance documents, perform DVI/GVI and NDT, and provide on-the-job training to mechanics. Travel up to 50% may be required to support 24-hour operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.
• RII certificate.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Experience using a computer to look up information and input data.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspection functions to ensure airworthiness.
• Audits maintenance documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Conducts Detailed Visual Inspections (DVI) and General Visual Inspections (GVI).
• Performs NDT testing and approves closure of components.
• Provides guidance and training to mechanics, including on-the-job training.
• Maintains safety and uses calibrated tooling properly.
• Submits recommendations to improve procedures and cost efficiency.
