BECOME AN AIRCRAFT/GSE FUELER!

Our Aircraft/GSE Fueler plays an important role in ensuring the safe and efficient refueling of aircraft at the airport. Responsibilities include operating fuel trucks, connecting hoses, and overseeing the refueling process in accordance with safety and aviation guidelines. This role entails conducting fuel quantity checks, monitoring equipment performance, and promptly addressing emergencies or spills. You will keep accurate records, collaborate with airline personnel, and conduct routine equipment inspections. By ensuring aircraft are fueled and prepared for departure, you contribute significantly to airport safety and operational efficiency.

WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK AS AN AIRCRAFT/GSE FUELER

1. Safely and efficiently conduct fueling operations
2. Maintain accurate records of fueling transactions
3. Perform daily quality control inspections on equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality
4. Responsible for fueling various Ground Service Equipment such as Hydrant Trucks, Fuel Trucks, Tanker Trucks, Tugs, and Belt Loaders
5. Utilize fuel trucks, hydrant carts, and stationary carts to refuel aircrafts
6. Ensure accurate loading and balancing of fuel
7. Conduct defueling procedures as required
8. Exhibit consistent and dependable attendance
9. Work outdoors, exposed to varying temperatures and inclement weather
10. Exceed PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
11. Perform any additional duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS

1. 18 years of age or older
2. Eligible to work in the United States
3. Basic math skills
4. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents
5. Ability to use electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
6. Effectively communicate both in-person and through electronic means
7. Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
8. Pass a background check and drug screen
9. Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
10. Ability to work any day/shift, including holidays, within a 24/7 operation

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY/WORKING CONDITIONS MAY INCLUDE:

1. Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
2. Prolonged standing and walking in an indoor/outdoor environment as applicable
3. Must be able to push, pull
4. Must be able to reach with arms and grasp with hands
5. Must be able to work at elevated heights
6. Exposure to outdoor elements
7. Must be able to bend, stretch, squat, and kneel
8. Must be able to crawl and crouch, at times, in confined tight spaces
9. Exposure to moderate and at times high noise levels
10. Exposure to Biohazards and/or Chemicals
11. Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms
12. Tasks may involve repetitive motions of the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers
13. Specific vision abilities required for this job include: Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
