Job summary

Avflight Monroe in Monroe, LA is seeking a Line Services Technician responsible for fueling, de-icing, aircraft servicing, and ground support duties to keep operations running smoothly.

You will operate fueling trucks, perform safety inspections, assist with groundskeeping, and ensure compliance with FAA and company safety policies. A high school diploma and 2 years aviation experience are preferred; background check and drug test are required. Must be able to lift 75 lbs and work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• 2 years related experience; aviation experience a plus
• Must pass background check and pre-employment drug test
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Ability to write clearly and legibly
• Ability to push/pull/lift 70 lbs. for extended periods
• Must be willing to work varied hours including swing and graveyard shifts and weekends/holidays
• Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather and airport environment

Responsibilities

• Fuel and de-ice aircraft per standards
• Direct aircraft and vehicle movement on ramp
• Operate and service fuel trucks and ground support equipment
• Provide de-icing service as needed
• Perform groundskeeping and janitorial tasks
• Assist aircraft crews and passengers with services
• Inspect fuel farm and perform routine safety checks
• Ensure compliance with FAA and company safety policies
