Job summary

Tank Tigers is seeking an Aircraft Fuel Cell Technician (Class B) in Memphis, Tennessee to perform fuel tank maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations in accordance with aircraft maintenance manuals and FAA regulations.

The role requires 2–4 years of aircraft maintenance experience, the ability to work in confined spaces, and strict adherence to safety and documentation standards. Class B technicians work under supervision and do not approve releases.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 calendar years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• 2 to 4 years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience.
• Ability to comprehend and perform assigned aircraft fuel system maintenance tasks.
• Basic knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures, technical documentation, and applicable maintenance data.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow aircraft maintenance manuals and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned aircraft fuel tank maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alteration tasks in accordance with applicable maintenance manuals and technical data
• Follow established maintenance procedures and ensure assigned tasks are completed in accordance with customer requirements
• Ensure completed or partially completed maintenance tasks are properly documented and signed off as required
• Perform maintenance activities in the appropriate sequence and request necessary inspections in a timely and orderly manner
• Verify that test equipment and tools used to make airworthiness determinations are properly labeled and current
• Request parts, materials, and stock required to complete assigned maintenance activities
• Accurately record work performed in the appropriate aircraft maintenance records
• Complete required maintenance documentation and additional paperwork
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Maintain awareness of applicable FAA regulations, including 14 CFR Parts 43 and 145
• Understand and follow the company's Repair Station Manual, Quality Control Manual, and subsequent revisions
• Accurately record time spent on assigned maintenance tasks
• Immediately report unsafe procedures, practices, or conditions that could result in injury, operational inefficiency, or unairworthy aircraft conditions
• Follow direction from the Facility Supervisor and/or Facility Manager
