Skyeton, Inc. is seeking an experienced Painter to prepare aircraft components, apply coatings, and inspect finishes in our Fayetteville, NC facility.

You will work with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure durable, mission-ready coatings that meet strict aerospace standards. The role requires 2+ years of relevant coating experience, ability to read drawings, and careful attention to surface quality.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with surface preparation, masking, spray application, curing, touch‑up, and finish inspection.
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings, specifications, and safety data sheets.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure uniform finishes and quality.
• Capability to work collaboratively in a schedule-driven aerospace production environment.

Aufgaben

• Prepare surfaces (composite, metal, others) and protect areas per drawings and instructions.
• Mix and apply primers, paints, coatings, and sealants per approved ratios and pot-life controls.
• Operate paint booths and spray equipment safely and effectively.
• Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure coating thickness and appearance meet specifications.
• Maintain records for materials, batch traceability, and cure data.
• Support quality inspections, process improvements, and adherence to EHS procedures.
