Job summary

V2X in Mississippi is seeking a skilled aircraft painter to apply coatings to interior and exterior surfaces, perform masking and prep work, and ensure quality finishes.

You will paint components, remove old paint with blasting equipment, degrease parts, and route items through the overhaul process while maintaining safety and compliance.

The position requires high school diploma and related experience; A&P certification preferred, with weekend and overtime as needed and a commitment to teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent (GED) and 2 years of related work experience in aircraft/component maintenance.
• Painting experience in automotive industry will be considered.
• A&P Certification preferred and knowledge of FAA maintenance programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and paint aircraft components.
• Remove paint using abrasive blasting equipment.
• Clean and degrease parts using specified cleaners.
• Sand component parts to prepare for painting.
• Paint components with industrial tools and materials.
• Route components to the next overhaul stage.
• Follow all safety procedures and practices.
