Job summary

SkyWest is seeking a maintenance/facilities employee in Lincoln, NE. The role covers upkeep of workspaces, maintenance tooling, and ground equipment to ensure safe, reliable operations.

The position requires completing safety inspections, strong communication, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and varying shifts. A valid driver’s license and eligible U.S. work status are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Strong communication skills.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds or more, with or without accommodation.
• Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
• Be able to work effectively under stress and within tight time constraints.
• Be self-motivated and a team player.
• Be available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules.
• Have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license and ability to rent/operate vehicles on or off airport property.
• Be able to obtain a SIDA badge, as required by the Airport Authority.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility maintenance tasks, including upkeep and cleanliness of all workspaces; maintain equipment for aircraft maintenance tooling and ground operations.
• Maintain a safe working environment; keep facility vehicles and ground equipment safe and in reliable condition.
• Comply with scheduled safety inspections on equipment or facilities per policy and regulations.
