Cirrus Aircraft in Alcoa, Tennessee is seeking an Exterior Finisher Technician I to prepare aircraft for delivery. The role includes surface prep, primer application, and post-paint finishing to achieve a high-quality exterior.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to operate tools and equipment such as sanders, buffers and spray guns with precision.
• Strong manual dexterity for handling small components and surfaces.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, and mask aircraft surfaces for paint to ensure adhesion and a smooth finish.
• Primer Application: Apply primer with even coverage and surface readiness for paint.
• Post-Paint Finishing: Sand, buff, and polish painted surfaces to achieve a high-quality finish.
• Cosmetic Sealant Application: Apply sealants for protection and aesthetics.
• Vinyl Stripes Installation: Align and install vinyl stripes with precision.
• Assembly: Perform basic assembly tasks as required by engineering drawings.
• Detailing: Final inspection and cleaning to meet quality standards before delivery.
