Job summary

Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) in the United States is seeking an Aircraft Examiner (Sheet Metal Mechanic) to join the MRO Production Department, Production Lines Division of Fleet Readiness Center Southwest. You will inspect assigned aircraft sheet metal systems, evaluate their condition, and document any non-conformities.

You will determine the scope of disassembly and depth of repair, ensuring work is performed only as authorized, and will install and adjust

• Determine product condition by identifying and documenting all non-conforming discrepancies.
• Install and adjust flight controls, control cables, rods, bell cranks, pulleys and fairleads.
• Make informed technical decisions to determine and control the extent of disassembly and depth of repair and processing to only what is required and authorized.
