Job summary

StandardAero is seeking an Aircraft Engine Mechanic (PW500) to maintain, repair, and overhaul aircraft engines, modules and components, ensuring airworthiness and compliance with company standards. You will work with a team to identify issues, document repairs and uphold safety protocols.

The role requires reading schematics, using precision measuring tools and following overhaul manuals. FAA Powerplant certification is a plus; you must be authorized to work in the US.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand and interpret schematics, graphs, blueprints and other technical information.
• High mechanical aptitude, accuracy and precision.
• Knowledge of and experience with precision measuring tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle and assemble engines, modules, components and assemblies per customer, regulatory and company requirements.
• Troubleshoot and repair products according to specifications and procedures.
• Interpret standards and drawings to verify part conformance.
• Use machines, jigs, fixtures, gauges and plant equipment to complete tasks.
• Maintain repair and certification records and reports.
• Ensure airworthy equipment for safe, timely engine work and rotations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of cell processes.
• Observe safety requirements and report unsafe conditions.
