Tyonek Native Corporation seeks an aircraft engine technician to perform depot-level maintenance on multiple military engine platforms, including disassembly, inspection, reconditioning and reassembly of components.

Applicants should have at least two years in aerospace engine repair and knowledge of military manuals. US citizenship and the ability to pass a government background check are required; a drug-free workplace is maintained. Up to 25% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of military technical manuals and able to qualify for government equipment operator license.
• Two years of documented experience in aerospace and/or aircraft engine repair.
• US citizenship and ability to pass a National Agency background check.
• Willing to travel up to 25%.

Responsabilités

• Disassemble multiple types of aircraft engines and accessories and inspect components.
• Break down major assemblies and inspect for defects.
• Determine if parts are functional and reusable; recondition and assemble subassemblies.
• Maintain, repair and test engines in test cells or workshops.
• Analyze problems such as fuel fluctuations or vibration and take corrective action.
• Observe instrument readings and locate defects requiring repair.
