Job summary

StandardAero, Inc. seeks an Engine Detail Inspector (Bearings) to perform visual and dimensional inspection of engine bearings and related components for return to service per approved data and customer requirements. Cross trains in other skills as needed to support production.

The role requires high school diploma, 2–5 years bearing inspection experience, and ability to read blueprints with precision measuring tools. Willingness to work varied shifts and training others.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Aircraft engine bearing inspection experience (2–5 years) preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specs.
• Proficient use of precision measuring equipment and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Performs visual and dimensional inspection of engine bearings for conformance to approved data and customer requirements.
• Determines and documents modification status to verify regulatory compliance.
• Ensures bearings are clean and in good condition for inspection.
• Records inspection results on the appropriate documents.
• Supervises detail inspection trainees in OJT.
• Participates in continuous improvement of cell processes.
