Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC is seeking an Aircraft Electrician I to install, route, terminate and test electrical harnesses on C-130J aircraft. You will read wiring diagrams, interpret engineering drawings and work with a range of cables and connectors.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years of aircraft electrical experience, ability to interpret technical drawings, and possession of a DoD Secret clearance (US citizen). The role offers on-site work in Florida with potential security clearances.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of aircraft electrical experience in related fields such as Communications, Navigations, or Avionics.
• Ability to read and interpret aircraft electrical drawings, blueprints and diagrams.
• Experience completing wire/harness fabrication, routing, installation and testing.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, terminate and test electrical cables and harnesses on C-130J aircraft including fiber optic and various cable types.
• Remove and install aircraft components as required.
• Interpret engineering drawings and maintenance manuals to determine feasibility and method of install/modification.
• Use hand tools, power tools and calibrated test equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain a clean, FOD-free work area and comply with safety regulations.
