Job summary

SkyBridge Aviation is seeking experienced Aircraft Electricians (Level I and II) to support C-130J modification programs in Crestview, FL. If you have a background in military avionics or aircraft electrical systems, we want to hear from you.

Contract to Hire with a 4/10 schedule and DoD Secret clearance preferred. Level I requires 2+ years, Level II requires 4+ years of avionics experience, with eligibility for a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of aircraft electrical experience.
• USAF 5-Level (Journeyman) or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, terminate, and test electrical cables and harnesses on C-130J airplanes.
• Work with Fiber Optic, 1553 Data Bus, RF, Twinax, Triax, Quadrax, and Ethernet cables.
• Read and apply technical manuals, service bulletins, and maintenance specs.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and calibrated test equipment.
• Maintain a clean, FOD-free work environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Installing, routing, terminating, and testing electrical cables and harnesses on C-130J aircraft
• Working with Fiber Optic, 1553 Data Bus, RF, Twinax, Triax, Quadrax, and Ethernet cables
• Reading and applying technical manuals, service bulletins, and maintenance specifications
• Operating hand tools, power tools, and calibrated test equipment
• Maintaining a clean, FOD-free work environment

Level I Requirements

• 2+ years of aircraft electrical experience
• USAF 5-Level (Journeyman) or equivalent

Level II Requirements

• 4+ years of avionics experience
• USAF 7-Level (Craftsman) or equivalent
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance

Preferred for Both Levels

• C-130J experience
• Active Secret Security Clearance
• Military or commercial aircraft modification experience
