Job summary

Wyoming Air National Guard in Wyoming seeks an Aircraft Electrician (Title 32) to analyze malfunctions, repair and maintain aircraft electrical and environmental systems, and provide on-the-job training to personnel.

The role requires experience with wiring, schematics, and system diagnostics, and involves complying with safety, security, and environmental regulations within a National Guard setting.

Qualifications

• Experience or training locating and tying in the electrical systems with aircraft armament, electronics, and instrument systems; adjusting and calibrating components.
• Experience installing, maintaining, repairing and modifying electrical systems and major substation components.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Analyze malfunctions and troubleshoot aircraft electrical/environmental systems and other aircraft systems.
• Repair, install, maintain, test, and modify electrical systems on and/or off-aircraft.
• Provide technical advice and troubleshooting expertise to other work centers as needed.
• Requisition, processes, and accounts for supply assets as required by the repairable processing system.
• Comply with safety, fire, security, and housekeeping regulations and properly store and secure materials.
