Job summary

Wyoming Air National Guard is seeking an Aircraft Electrician to analyze, troubleshoot, repair, install and test electrical and environmental systems on aircraft. You will work with other centers, provide training, and manage supply assets while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Minimum requirements include experience with aircraft electrical systems and the ability to read schematics; specialized duties cover diagnostics and complex repairs using precision tools and equipment.

Qualifications

  • Experience or training locating and tying in electrical systems with aircraft subsystems.
  • Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematics.
  • Experience diagnosing malfunctions and making electrical repairs with precision tools.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze malfunctions, troubleshoot, repair, install and test electrical/environmental systems on aircraft.
  • Provide technical advice to other work centers when needed.
  • Offer on-the-job training to lower graded or new personnel.
  • Requisition and account for supply assets per repairable processing system.
  • Follow safety, fire, security, and housekeeping regulations.
