The Headquarters, Air Force Reserve Command is seeking an Air Reserve Technician aircraft electrician to support the regular federal career civil service. ARTs work within a unit and participate in monthly training assemblies, maintaining a SECRET clearance as required.

Ability to perform heavy lifting and TDY duties may be involved. Applicants must meet OPM WG-2800 standards and demonstrate high proficiency in testing, troubleshooting, and integrating electrical/environmental systems on

Competenze

• OPM X-118C WG-2800 standards apply for the AIRCRAFT ELECTRICIAN role.
• Screen-out element: ability to perform the work with minimal supervision.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft electrical/electronic systems and their integration.

Mansioni

• Perform electrical installations and maintenance on aircraft systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical/environmental components on aircraft and workstations.
• Calibrate and adjust components such as amplifiers and voltage regulators.
• Maintain safety and security compliance per applicable orders and programs.
