Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Engineering Technician C to support aircraft electrical assembly and install work in Waco, TX. The role involves reading drawings, wiring, and testing systems on aircraft and transportation equipment, with cross-training in mechanical installs.

The position requires US citizenship, a high school diploma with six years of relevant experience (or an associate degree with two years), and the ability to obtain security clearances.

Qualifications

• Six years of aircraft electrical assembly experience with a high school diploma.
• Associate degree with two years of aircraft electrical assembly experience.
• Other technical training and/or military courses will be considered.
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical installations on aircraft and related systems.
• Coordinate between engineering, quality and other departments.
• Lead small projects and work as part of a team or individually.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
• Read, interpret and apply technical drawings and maintenance manuals.
• Ensure compliance with industry-quality standards and safety practices.
• Operate tools necessary to perform job functions and obtain forklift certification as needed.
• Be willing to work overtime and travel up to 20%, including some weekends.
