Job Schedule: 1st Shift 4/10 M‑Th

Job Description: The Engineering Technician will be responsible for electrical assembly and installation on aircraft. This includes layouts, fabrication, and installing electrical wiring and coaxial cable on aircraft, vehicles or transportation equipment in accordance with drawings, technical manuals or other written instructions.

Essential Functions:

• Perform electrical installations and mechanical installs on aircraft.
• Coordinate between different departments such as engineering and quality.
• Lead small projects, working both as a team and individually.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
• Read, interpret, and understand technical drawings and aircraft maintenance manuals.
• Apply general industry standards for quality expectations.
• Apply general aircraft electrical systems knowledge and assembly principles and techniques.
• Use required tools to perform job functions.
• Be cross‑trained in both mechanical assembly and electrical installs.
• Obtain and maintain certifications to operate vehicles such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
• Be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Work overtime, potentially any shift and some weekends.
• Travel as required up to 20%.
• Be familiar with MS Office Suite.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Operate in tight spaces onboard an aircraft.
• Submit to FAA requirements and random substance abuse screenings.
• Obtain and maintain a DoD Top‑Secret with SCI Clearance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High‑school diploma or equivalent with six (6) years of aircraft electrical assembly and install experience.
• or 2 years post‑secondary/associate’s degree with two (2) years of aircraft electrical assembly and install experience.
• Other technical training and/or military courses considered.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Active Secret or Top‑Secret Clearance.
• Forklift certification.
• Leadership experience.
