Schedule: Flex Shift (8pm-6.30am or 10pm-6.30am). Team is currently working 10 hours on Sun-Thu with 8 hours on Friday.

Job Description:

The Aircraft Electrical Installer performs installation, maintenance, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, re-assembly or adjustment of various aircraft systems in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, and regulations.

Essential Functions:

1. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
2. Installs, tests, troubleshoots and repairs aircraft avionics and electrical system components in accordance with testing, engineering, maintenance and installation directives.
3. Ability to assist in post installation operational checks of all installed and disturbed systems.
4. Ability to learn the proper techniques in troubleshooting systems.
5. Ability to interpret electrical engineering drawings, component installation and wire termination list.
6. Displays a strong pride in workmanship.
7. Ability to work well with others.
8. Ability to follow company guidelines and policies.
9. Willingness and ability to work outside regularly scheduled hours to meet company objectives.
10. Willingness and ability to travel to support the aircraft at times in the field when the aircraft are away from home station.

Qualifications:

1. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience; Or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
2. Minimum of 6 years experience in Aircraft Electrical and Avionics experience.
3. Minimum of 6 years experience in interpreting and understanding wiring diagrams.
4. Minimum of 6 years experience in aircraft wire routing and termination.
5. Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Additional Skills:

1. Active DoD security clearance.
2. Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license a plus.
3. Experience with standard electrical termination tooling (i.e. DMC, TE, etc.).
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
5. Dependable work ethic.
6. 145 Repair station experience a plus.
