Job summary

Jet Excellence in Sanford, NC is seeking an Aircraft Detailer to maintain interior and exterior aircraft appearance to the highest safety and quality standards. You will perform precision cleaning, polishing and detailing to ensure a showroom-quality finish that complies with FAA and manufacturer guidelines.

The role requires 2–5 years of detailing experience (aircraft preferred) or 3–5 years in automotive detailing with ceramic coatings.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of aircraft detailing experience preferred.
• Experience with deice boot treatment, brightwork polishing, and ceramic coating is a plus.
• Automotive detailing experience with ceramic coatings is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Wash, wax, and buff aircraft surfaces and engine inlets to protect against corrosion and maintain polish.
• Deep-clean and sanitize cabins, seating areas, galleys, lavatories, carpets, and windows.
• Follow FAA safety protocols for chemical usage and equipment handling.
• Identify and report structural or maintenance concerns found during cleaning.
