DAS Aviation in Cedar Hill, TX is seeking a skilled Aircraft Composite Technician for the 2nd shift. You will repair parts using wet layup and prepregs, with some work in clean rooms and curing ovens or autoclaves.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to read procedures, and use of measuring tools and hand tools. Training starts immediately with benefits including medical, dental, 401(k), and weekly pay.

Formación

• Wet layup and prepreg repair work in composite fabrication.
• Clean room work and curing processes via autoclave or controlled oven.
• Use of close tolerance measuring tools and hand tools in repair work.
• Follow PPE and safety protocols during operations.
• Bagging materials for various component shapes/types.
• Capable of using hot-bonder curing procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Capable to use close tolerance measuring tools (i.e., scales, micrometers, calipers, depth gages).
• Capable to use hand tools (i.e., drill motors, die grinders, rivet guns).
• Align/assemble components using jig, templates and fixtures.
• Bagging materials for composite parts and assemblies.
• Operate curing equipment such as ovens/autoclaves; manage vacuum systems.
• Maintain shop facilities and tooling; keep workspace clean and safe.
• Communicate effectively in English; document maintenance data.
