Job summary

All Aviation Jobs is seeking a full-time aircraft cabin cleaner responsible for maintaining the interior of the aircraft, including cabins, lavatories, and galleys. The role requires attention to detail, strong customer service, and adherence to security procedures.

18+ years old and authorization to work in the US are required, with background checks and possible badge requirements. Position is in-person with shift work and physical duties such as lifting up to 50–75 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to provide authorization to work in the United States.
• Background check, SIDA badge, and Customs documents may be required.
• TSA/airport exams and training on hire.
• Driver’s License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean all areas of the aircraft cabin.
• Clean lavatories, galleys, and cabin areas.
• Perform security checks in aircraft cabin interiors.
• Provide provisioning as needed.
• Vacuum interiors and keep debris-free.
• Accept other duties as assigned.

Required Or Preferred Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be capable of providing authorization to work in the United States.
• Hire is contingent upon passage of Airport / TSA / US Department of Customs background check, and, obtaining an Airport Authority SIDA badge and US Customs Hologram Seal as needed.
• Passage of Company / TSA / Airport exams and training upon hire.
• Driver’s License (preferred)

General Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall cleaning of the interior aircraft cabin.

Specific Duties / Essential Job Functions: (Other duties may be assigned.)

• Responsible for cleaning all areas of the aircraft
• Lavatories, Galleys, Cabin Area
• Performing Security Checks in Aircraft Cabin Interiors
• Provisioning
• Ensuring all areas of the aircraft are vacuumed and free of debris.
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands

• The individual may be required to stand and walk for 2/3 or more of the work shift.
• Individual may be required to talk, hear and use hands to handle or feel for 2/3 or more of the work shift.
• Individual may be required to lift up to 50 pounds or more for up to 2/3 of the work shift.
• The essential job duties of this position require employees to constantly stand, walk, and climb stairs.
• Moderate lifting of up to 75 pounds is required.
• Moderate pushing and pulling is required. Grabbing, grasping, holding, squeezing, typing, and use of fingers are required.
• Bending, stretching, twisting or reaching with arms and/or legs required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.
• The noise in the work environment is moderate.
• Outerwear and earplugs are made available as required.

Essential Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Listens and follows directions; coordination of Company objectives and airline objectives in a fast-paced environment; able to mediate minor customer disputes with passengers or crew.
• Strong customer service capabilities; superior attention to detail and awareness of work objectives and environment; ability to perform standardized cleaning work; ability to check own work.
• Ability to interpret and apply Company and airport security, safety, and standardized procedures.
