Job summary

Aery Aviation, LLC is seeking a Certification Engineer (Contract to Perm) to plan, coordinate, and execute aircraft certification activities for modifications, repairs, and certification programs. You will develop strategies, compliance plans, and documentation to demonstrate regulatory and customer compliance, while coordinating with FAA representatives, DERs, and ODA organizations.

Qualifications

  • Requires aerospace engineering degree and experience in aircraft certification or related programs.
  • Familiar with FAA regulations, STC processes, ICA requirements, and FAA Form 337.
  • Experience developing compliance matrices, engineering reports, and certification artifacts.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, analyses, specs and documentation for certification.
  • Strong communication and coordination with FAA, DERs, ODA, customers, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop certification strategies, plans, and means of compliance for aircraft modifications and repairs.
  • Coordinate with engineering, production, quality, and management to ensure certification milestones.
  • Prepare and maintain certification artifacts including ICA, compliance matrices, and reports.
  • Review drawings, analyses, test plans, and documentation to verify regulatory conformity.
  • Coordinate testing, inspections, and demonstrations with FAA representatives and stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement of certification processes and standards.
