Job summary

Gulfstream seeks an Apprentice Cabinet Maker for the Savannah area. You will learn basic cabinetmaking skills under direct supervision, following engineering drawings to fabricate aircraft cabinets and wood-surfaced subassemblies.

The program runs two years, aiming to develop you into a fully proficient cabinet maker within gulfstream sector. This is a full-time, first-shift role within the Completions furniture center departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Entry level position.
• Two-year program to become proficient Cabinet Maker.

Responsibilities

• Learns entry-level skills and tooling used in aircraft cabinetmaking.
• Develops competency to progress to the technician level.
• Prepares and makes furniture using drawings, laminates and veneers.
• Uses material tracking to create parts demand and sign-off completed work.
• Follows safety, 5S and housekeeping policies and protects aircraft interior.
