Job summary

Dassault Falcon Jet in Melbourne, FL is seeking an Aircraft Interior Technician to build, install and inspect interior components from sketches or 3D models. You will use drills and common hand tools and must have at least one year of carpentry experience.

Responsibilities include fabricating cabinets, installing seating and carpeting, performing functional checks, and documenting work. Shift: 1st shift, Mon-Fri 7:30 AM–4:00 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of basic carpentry or related experience.
• Minimum three (3) years' experience in business jet maintenance environment.
• Must be able to work from sketches or 3D model.
• Must be able to read, understand and follow written instructions.
• Must be able to use drills, belt, disc, drum sanders and other common hand tools.
• Must have physical and muscular dexterity to install carpets, headliners, window panels, PSUs, cabinet assemblies, cushions, seats, tables, and related components.
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and install products such as window panels, headliners, decorative panels, and access panels.
• Install main cabin cabinets including Galley, Crew Closet, entertainment cabinets, window shades, and tables.
• Perform functional checks on installed systems and mechanical assemblies.
• Document work performed into Corridor.
• Maintain quality standards within allocated budgets and schedules.
• Work in accordance with Safety, Training and Quality rules.
