Job summary

National Aviation Services is seeking dependable interior aircraft cleaners to service planes at the BDL Hartford International Airport. This full-time role requires punctuality, attention to safety, and the ability to work as part of a airline operations team.

You will perform waste removal, lavatory restocking, cabin cleaning, and comply with security and PPE policies while maintaining equipment and reporting issues to your supervisor. Equal opportunity employer offering benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand flight schedules.
• Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA).
• Must secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable.
• Must be at least 18 years of age, have access to reliable transportation, and be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks as assigned by the Lead/Supervisor and outlined in the scope of work.
• Remove all trash from aircraft.
• Clean and restock all lavatories.
• Clean galley, all seats, seat back pockets, tray tables, and replace soiled magazines and sick bags.
• Conduct thorough security searches and submit all Lost and Found items to the immediate Supervisor.
• Review and adhere to safety instructions when operating and driving ground equipment.
• Maintain company vehicles in a clean, organized state; assist in pre/post operation inspections.
• Review posted updates on Cabin Cleaning or Ramp Operations before each shift begins.
• Ensure all break rooms, warehouse, and dock areas are clean and debris-free.
• Perform duties safely to avoid damage or injury.
