Job summary

NAS - National Aviation Services seeks dependable interior aircraft cleaners for BDL Hartford Airport operations in Windsor Locks, CT. The role includes cleaning cabins, lavatories, galleys, and ensuring magazines and sick bags are restocked, while following safety rules and securing proper credentials.

Responsibilities include trash removal, security checks, vehicle maintenance, and timely updates on Cabin Cleaning and Ramp Operations.

Qualifications

• Must sign or clock in/out at the beginning and end of the scheduled shift.
• Safety measures must be followed, including PPE when required.
• Read and understand flight schedules and comply with airport rules.
• FAA criminal background checks may be required for access areas.
• Able to report injuries or property damage promptly.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks as assigned by the Lead/Supervisor and scope of work.
• Remove all trash from aircraft.
• Clean and restock lavatories.
• Clean galley, seats, pockets, trays; replace magazines and sick bags.
• Conduct security searches and submit Lost and Found items to the Supervisor.
• Adhere to safety instructions when operating ground equipment.
• Maintain company vehicles and assist in POIs during the shift.
• Review updates on Cabin Cleaning or Ramp Operations before shifts.
• Keep break room, warehouse, and dock areas clean and debris-free.
• Work safely to avoid damage to vehicles, equipment, or aircraft.
• Report injuries or property damage immediately to Shift Supervisor.
• Notify Supervisor of any irregular activities impacting service.
