Job summary

Stand-By Personnel, Inc. seeks an experienced Aircraft Assembly Lead for an aerospace manufacturing role in Tulsa, OK.

This hands-on leader will train and mentor production staff, ensure quality and safety, and actively participate in a precision assembly environment. The ideal candidate has prior manufacturing or assembly leadership experience and is comfortable with aerospace hardware, technical drawings, and problem-solving to maintain production goals.

Qualifications

• Hands-on leader with prior manufacturing or assembly leadership experience.
• Experience with aircraft or precision mechanical assembly.
• Able to train, mentor, and coordinate production activities.
• Familiar with aerospace hardware and tools.
• Ability to read technical drawings and interpret manufacturing specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily aircraft assembly operations while meeting schedules.
• Provide hands-on leadership and technical assistance to the team.
• Train and mentor employees on procedures and workmanship.
• Read and interpret drawings and work instructions.
• Operate rivet squeezers, pull-rivet guns, roller swaging equipment, arbor presses.
• Assist installation of bushings, rivets, nut plates, bearings, Hi-Loks, Helicoils.
• Maintain safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with supervisors to optimize workflow.
• Standards for clean, organized work areas and safety compliance.
• Support production issues resolution and hands-on duties as needed.
