Job summary

HHS Aviation in Boston, MA is seeking an Aircraft Appearance Duty Manager for an in-person, full-time role at Logan Intl Airport. You will oversee all appearance operations, safety, service delivery, and staff management to meet SLAs with customers.

The role requires 2–5 years of management experience, FAA/OSHA knowledge, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather. Relocation for promotion is possible.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of management experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Willing to work outdoors in varied weather and elevated airport noise.
• Have a valid driver's license and a clear MVR.
• Extensive airport operational experience with budgetary and financial responsibilities.
• Knowledge of FAA and OSHA regulations.
• Experience negotiating contracts.
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, email, and ordering platforms.
• Willing to relocate for promotion opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for delivering effective aircraft appearance operations.
• Lead, motivate, and manage team to meet SLAs with customers.
• Resolve customer service issues in a timely manner with tact and diplomacy.
• Proactively manage safety and security processes to comply with operating standards.
• Review KPIs and convey necessary actions.
• Recruit and hire new team members to meet service requirements.
• Understand contract requirements and customer expectations.
• Plan and organize efficient use of resources and team schedules.
• Monitor and/or conduct required training of team members.
