Job summary

Aviation Technical Services, Inc. is seeking an Accessories Mechanic at our Fort Worth facility to maintain, repair and overhaul aircraft systems.

You will work under minimal supervision and apply SRM/Engineering data to develop repair schemes, then test and verify component performance. Key responsibilities include disassembly and reassembly of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical parts, reading manuals, and ensuring accurate job clocking and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Airframe and/or Power plant License and skill level after one year as a General Mechanic, or three years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Repair, modify, replace or perform routine aircraft maintenance in the assigned area.
• Develop repair schemes using SRM or Engineering data and conduct operational tests.
• Communicate progress and challenges to maintenance leadership and co-workers.
• Read and interpret manufacturer manuals, service bulletins, drawings to determine repair feasibility.
• Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble components; test hydraulic, mechanical or electrical parts.
• Follow safety and quality standards; clock to jobs accurately.
