Job summary

Your Mission at Xtreme Aviation

As an Aircraft A&P Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing aircraft maintenance while ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, approved technical data, and Xtreme Aviation procedures.

We are specifically seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic with Boeing 767 experience who understands the importance of precision, proper documentation, and airworthiness in a fast-paced aviation environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform aircraft maintenance and related maintenance activities in accordance with approved technical data and company procedures.
  • Perform maintenance on Boeing 767 aircraft.
  • Ensure all shop equipment, tools, special tools, and test equipment are in serviceable condition prior to use.
  • Verify required checks and calibrations have been completed on applicable tools and test equipment.
  • Complete all required maintenance entries, forms, work orders, and documentation accurately.
  • Use the latest approved and applicable technical data when performing maintenance.
  • Maintain high-quality workmanship in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Follow all applicable safety precautions and company safety procedures.
  • Properly handle, preserve, install, remove, and store aircraft parts and components.
  • Inspect work and identify any discrepancies or conditions that may affect airworthiness.
  • Immediately notify the Maintenance Manager of discrepancies or un-airworthy conditions identified during maintenance.
  • Comply with applicable Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), Advisory Circulars (ACs), Engineering Orders (EOs), and other applicable technical requirements.
  • Properly document and sign for work performed in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized maintenance environment.
  • Work closely with other maintenance personnel and management to support safe and efficient aircraft operations.
  • Approve articles for return to service when authorized under the repair station certificate and applicable Operations Specifications.
What You Bring
  • Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate under 14 CFR Part 65.
  • Boeing 767 maintenance experience is required.
  • Previous aircraft maintenance experience in an airline, MRO, or FAA Part 145 environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable 14 CFR Part 145 requirements.
  • Knowledge of aircraft inspection methods, techniques, practices, equipment, and tools.
  • Ability to properly use inspection equipment and visual inspection aids.
  • Ability to understand, read, and write English.
  • Ability to interpret and use current approved technical data.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance documentation and work-order requirements.
  • Ability to identify and report discrepancies and potential un-airworthy conditions.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and airworthiness.
Bonus Points For
  • Strong hands-on experience with B767 line or heavy maintenance.
  • Previous experience working in an FAA Part 145 Repair Station.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
