Job summary

NV5 Geospatial is seeking a Flight Acquisition Manager to lead a multi-location airborne remote sensing and ground survey program with 25+ staff and assets across North America. The role includes flight operations, project management, personnel oversight, and field deployment across Portland, OR and other NV5 acquisition facilities.

Qualified candidates have a science/engineering degree, 3+ years in aviation/remote sensing, and at least 1 year of management experience; travel to NA countries is

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related field is required.
• 3+ years progressive experience in aviation and remote sensing technology.
• 1+ year of management experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Authorized travel to North American countries is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all acquisition efforts and oversee staff assignments.
• Develop flight plans, schedules, and project plans in support of estimating.
• Manage personnel, hiring procedures, and training compliance.
• Acquire data as needed and assist with sensor installation/removal.
• Advise management on aircraft and sensor solutions and maintain customer relationships.
• Promote safety and regulatory compliance across operations.
