Job Purpose

Assists the Engineer in performing avionics maintenance tasks on Air Arabia and third-party aircraft, including inspections, repairs, and component replacements. Performs and records work according to standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review task cards with the Engineer-in-Charge to understand work scope, priorities, and documentation needs.
• Prepare and perform scheduled aircraft maintenance, ensuring availability of parts, tools, and GSE.
• Conduct aircraft tests and inspections to identify and record defects or damages.
• Carry out repairs and component replacements as instructed, following approved data and procedures.
• Ensure proper tooling is used and returned in good condition.
• Report task status to the Engineer-in-Charge and alert on any issues.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping.

Safety

• Manage safety precautions during maintenance tasks.
• Use proper GSE and protective equipment to ensure safety.
• Follow human factors procedures for maintenance and inspections.

Reputation and Teamwork

• Provide support to team and other departments for scheduled maintenance.
• Represent Air Arabia professionally to other personnel and customers.

Cost Awareness

• Be mindful of maintenance costs, minimizing waste and avoiding unnecessary damage or rework.
