Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Telecommunications Engineering Technician to support the FAA BNATCS in Washington, DC. This role focuses on site surveys, project planning, and coordination with SSC, ES, and vendors to keep the transition on track.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in electronics engineering (or related field) and experience with telecom systems, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office. Willingness to travel 75–100% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering with 4–8 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 2–6 years.
• Ability to travel 75–100%.
• Public Trust Security Clearance suitability: U.S. citizen or Green Card holder with 3 years in the past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Review FAA databases and draft Site Survey Reports (SSR).
• Conduct site surveys and coordinate with SSC, ES, and vendors.
• Draft Project Risk Plans and ORMs. Draft site preparation and transition plans.
• Coordinate outages and develop transition plans; update drawings and briefs.
• Support District POC and SSCs with day-to-day activities.
