Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Telecommunications Engineering Technician for the FAA BNATCS program in Denver, CO to support the National Airspace Systems integration and modernization. The role involves site surveys, drafting reports, coordinating with SSC/ES/vendor teams, creating transition and risk plans, and updating drawings and artifacts to keep the project on schedule.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in Electronics Engineering or related field and be prepared to travel up to 100% to support

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree.
  • Experience with telecommunications networks and network troubleshooting.
  • Ability to travel 75–100%.
  • Able to obtain Public Trust clearance (US citizen or Green Card holder with 3 of last 5 years in-country).
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suites.

Responsibilities

  • Review FAA databases and input or draft Site Survey Reports.
  • Conduct site surveys to draft Site Survey Reports.
  • Coordinate schedules with SSC, ES, and vendor personnel.
  • Draft Project Risk Plans and ORMPs.
  • Generate and update drawings, sketches, and artifacts.
  • Draft project plans for site preparation activities.
  • Coordinate outages with SSC and operations personnel.
  • Develop transition plans.
  • Resolve schedule conflicts.
  • Accompany unbadged personnel at facilities.
  • Work with LECs on schedules.
  • Develop briefs/reports on District status.
  • Work with Districts/SSC on interstate service flows, transitions, cutovers, planning.
  • Support District POC and SSCs with day-to-day activities.
  • Review and comment on SSIP.
